World Wrestling Entertainment superstar Becky Lynch is the Man. (It’s her nickname.) As a fan favorite for years, but always behind bigger names like Charlotte Flair, Sasha Banks (now Mercedes Moné in the ring and Mercedes Varnado IRL), and Ronda Rousey, Lynch was the Little Engine That Could of the WWE. Her breakthrough to the top came in late 2018 after five years in the midcard. She headlined the company’s flagship event, WrestleMania, in 2019 and beat Flair and Rousey to take home the Women’s Championship. She rode that popularity until May 2020 when she stepped away for a year to have her first child. Back since summer 2021, Lynch remains one of wrestling’s most popular stars and is scheduled to have another high-profile match in April at WrestleMania 40 at Philadelphia’s Lincoln Financial Field. All of this will likely be in Lynch’s first book, aptly titled Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Average Girl, which is why she’ll be appearing at Sixth & I shortly before her industry’s biggest weekend of the year.
